AI pick

Midnight Tacos

8 min away · spicy · open late

Why this pick Everyone likes spicy food, looks compatible with your profile, and the patio is still open.
Your crew matched 🌮

The problem

Your group chat was never built to choose dinner.

“I’m good with anything.”
“Not sushi again.”
“Wait, does that place have gluten-free?”
“Can someone just pick?”

grubr turns the chaos into a shared swipe session — so everyone gets a vote, nobody gets stuck scrolling, and the match actually works for the group.

How it works

Swipe. Match. Eat.

Three little words. One much quieter group chat.

01

Build your taste profile

Tell grubr what you crave, what you avoid, and what absolutely cannot touch the table.

02

Start a group

Invite your person or your crew with a simple 6-character code.

03

Swipe together

Restaurants appear with smart context, allergy checks, and AI-powered why-this-pick explanations.

04

Match and go

When your group overlaps, grubr helps with directions, rideshare, delivery, sharing, and splitting.

Features

Built for real dinner decisions.

Not sterile search. Not endless reviews. grubr is designed for the moment when everyone is hungry and nobody wants to be wrong.

AI picks

Recommendations that know the vibe.

grubr reads the room: cravings, location, cuisine history, budget, dietary needs, and group momentum — then explains why a pick makes sense.

Group sync

Everyone swipes together in real time.

Create a group, share a 6-character code, and let 1–10+ people swipe live. When the group overlaps, dinner gets decided.

Allergy-aware

Serious allergies are not a preference.

grubr separates serious allergies, intolerances, and preferences — flagging and filtering restaurants based on your serious allergies, and removing them where we have confirmed data.

Social feed

Rate it, caption it, share it.

After the meal, post photos, star ratings, and AI-assisted captions so your next night out starts with better taste memory.

Allergy-aware by design

Because “no peanuts” is not a vibe preference.

grubr’s 3-tier screening separates serious allergies, intolerances, and preferences. The tone stays warm, but the filtering stays firm.

Serious allergyFlagged & filtered
IntoleranceWarned clearly
PreferenceUsed for smarter ranking

grubr surfaces dietary and allergy information and filters on the allergies you enter, but does not prepare food and cannot guarantee any restaurant or dish is free from any allergen. Always confirm directly with the restaurant before ordering, especially for serious allergies.

FAQ

Questions before you hand dinner to the algorithm?

When does grubr launch?

grubr is currently building toward beta access. Join the waitlist to get early invites and claim your Founder Badge.

Which platforms will grubr support?

grubr is planned for iOS, Android, and web using Ionic React + Capacitor.

Is grubr free?

The beta waitlist is free. Pricing and premium features will be announced closer to launch.

How does allergy filtering work?

grubr treats serious allergies differently from intolerances and preferences. Serious allergies get the strongest treatment: restaurants are flagged for those allergens and filtered out where we have confirmed information. grubr can’t guarantee a restaurant or dish is allergen-free — always confirm directly with the restaurant.

What happens to my data?
